Privacy Policy for Customer

I-dac (Bangkok) Co., Ltd. (collectively “I-dac”, “we”, “us” or “our”) recognizes the importance of the protection of your personal data. This Privacy Policy (”Policy”) explains our practices regarding the collection, procession, use, and disclosure of personal data through the use of I-dac’s websites (“Website”), as well as products, features and other services globally, operated by I-dac (“Services”), in accordance with the applicable Personal Data Protection Laws. This Policy applies to our customers, agents, vendors, suppliers, partners, contractors and service providers (collectively “you”, “your” or “yours”).

We will collect the following personal data:

For the purpose of this Policy, “Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, and "Sensitive Data" means Personal Data classified by law as sensitive data.

This includes but is not limited to your name, surname, age, date of birth, nationality, identification number, passport number, and other information, including information about your interactions with us etc.

Information for contact purposes, including address, telephone number, e-mail address, addresses on the identification cards, addresses on the house registration, permanent address, facsimile numbers, copies of vehicle registrations, including other information that permits you to be contacted physically or online, as well as information about your interactions with us etc.

 

Behavioral Data

Any information relating to your personal interests or preferences, and characteristic of use or utilization of services.

 

Technical and Web Browsing Data 

Information relating to your activities on our Website and Services through the use of cookies such as IP address, Cookie ID, Activity Log, type of browser, devices and operating systems you use, identifiers associated with the device(s) you use to access our Websites and Services, the pages you visit and the features you use, including dates and times, information regarding your internet service provider, or other identifiers or technologies etc., including similar technologies as they may evolve over time.

 

Sensitive Data

Any information about racial, ethnic origin, political opinions, cult, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual behavior, criminal records, data concerning heath, disability, trade union information, and biometric data (for example, facial recognition, fingerprint recognition, iris and voice recognition data), or any other data as prescribed by the Personal Data Protection Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019).

 

Other 

Information relating to your photo, video, and other information that is considered Personal Data under the Personal Data Protection Laws.

 
  1. Sources of Personal Data 

a) I-dac receives Personal Data directly from you by collecting from:

(i) visit or use of Website and Services;

(ii) use of our products or services;

(iii) communicate with us, such as to provide feedback, ask for additional information, request support or service;

(iv) post content, photos or other material to social media or similar features operated by us or which I-dac may access;  

(v) register for or manage an account with us; or

(vi) subscribe to newsletters, email lists or other content provided in our Website.

b) From other sources include;

(i) Personal Data that may be captured through your interaction with our employees; 

(ii) publicly available sources of data;

(iii) governmental sources of data.

 

If you are a minor (who have not yet become sui juris, i.e. under the age of 20 or has not reached legal age through marriage as applicable by laws, quasi-incompetent persons, and incompetent persons, in order to collect your Personal Data, we require your parents or legal guardian to be aware and provide consent to us or allowed by applicable laws. If we become aware that we have unintentionally collected Personal Data without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

1.3 Storage of Data

We store your Personal Data as hard copy and soft copy by using our server in Thailand.

We may collect, use, and/or disclose your Personal Data on the legal basis of (1) your explicit consent; (2) contractual basis, for starting or entering into a contract or for performance of a contract with you; (3) legal obligation, for fulfilment of our legal obligations; (4) legitimate interest, for the purpose of our legitimate interests and the legitimate interests of third parties; (5) public interest, for the purposes of processing your Personal Data as listed below:

 

2.1 Operate and Support our Services

We use Personal Data that we gather in order to operate our Services. We may use your Personal Data to manage or support your account. We may identify your use of our Website from different devices, and we may use information we collect from you and receive from others to optimize your use of Website and our services as you use different devices.

 

2.2 Advertise and Promote Products and Services

We may use the information we gather to offer, provide, or personalize products and services from us. For example, we may customize content, advertising, communications and promotions to reflect your preferences, interests, or prior interactions with us and others. We may use information we gather to deliver you content when you visit other online services, including to encourage you to revisit our Services.

 

2.3 Make Other Contacts

We may contact you through telephone, text, email, chat or other means as permitted by law.  

 

This Policy only addresses our own information practices and does not apply to information you share with third parties even if we link to those third parties from an Online Service. These third parties may have their own privacy policies governing their use of information that you can access from their websites.

 

Should there be any modifications or amendment to the above purposes of collecting Personal Data, I-dac will duly inform you, as well as, fulfill other legal obligations in regards to amendment to the purposes stated in this Policy.

We may disclose your Personal Data within our organization, or otherwise allow access to such Personal Data by our organization for the purposes set out in this Policy. We may combine information internally across the different products or services covered by this Policy to help us be more relevant and useful to you and others.

We may share information with third party service providers and others who help us operate our business or provide Services on our behalf. These service providers include those who may help us handle your account or provide customer service or respond to consumer requests, complete orders, conduct training, and analytics companies, advertising networks and others.

In certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose and/ or transfer your Personal Data to government agencies, courts, officers, government authorities, law enforcement bodies or other third parties where we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation, or otherwise to protect our rights, the rights of any third party or individuals’ personal safety, or to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or safety issues.

We may be required to share your Personal Data to any person or entities outside of Thailand. The destination countries may or may not have the same equivalent level of protection for Personal Data protection standards. In such case, we shall ensure that there are appropriate safeguards in place, and oblige the recipients to protect your Personal Data in accordance with this Policy and applicable laws, unless such cross-border is required by laws.

We will retain your Personal Data for as long as necessary during the period you are a customer or under relationship with us, or for as long as necessary in connection with the purposes set out in this Policy, unless law requires or permits a longer retention period. We will erase, destroy or anonymize your Personal Data when it is no longer necessary or when the period lapses.

Subject to the Personal Data Protection Laws thereof, you may exercise any of these rights in the following:

 

6.1 Withdrawal of Consent: If you have given consent to us to collect, use or disclose your Personal Data whether before or after the effective date of the Personal Data Protection Laws, you have the right to withdraw such consent at any time throughout the period your Personal Data available to us, unless the nature of consent does not allow such withdrawal, or restricted by laws, or you are still under beneficial contract. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of the collection, use, or disclosure of Personal Data based on your consent before it was withdrawn.

 

6.2 Data Access: You have the right to access your Personal Data that is under our responsibility; to request us to make a copy of such data for you; and to request us to reveal as to how we obtain your Personal Data.

 

6.3 Data Portability: You have the right to obtain your Personal Data if we organize such Personal Data in automatic machine-readable or usable format and can be processed or disclosed by automatic means; to request us to send or transfer the Personal Data in such format directly to other data controllers if doable by automatic means; and to request to obtain the Personal Data in such format sent or transferred by us directly to other data controller unless not technically feasible. However, if exercise of your rights violates the rights and freedoms of others or we must use your Personal Data to perform a task carried out in the public interest, or for compliance with law, we have the discretion to reject your request.

 

6.4 Objection: You have the right to object to collection, use or disclosure of your Personal Data at any time if such doing is conducted for legitimate interests of us, corporation or individual which is within your reasonable expectation; or for carrying out public tasks.

 

6.5 Data Erasure or Destruction: You have the right to request us to erase, destroy or anonymize your Personal Data if you believe that the collection, use or disclosure of your Personal Data is against relevant laws; or retention of the data by us is no longer necessary in connection with related purposes under this Policy; or when you request to withdraw your consent or to object to the processing as earlier described, except where the retention of such Personal Data is for compliance with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

 

6.6 Suspension: You have the right to request us to suspend processing your Personal Data during the period where we examine your rectification or objection request; or when it is no longer necessary and we must erase or destroy your Personal Data pursuant to relevant laws but you instead request us to suspend the processing.

 

6.7 Rectification: You have the right to rectify your Personal Data to be updated, complete and not misleading.

 

6.8 Complaint lodging: You have the right to complain to competent authorities pursuant to relevant laws if you believe that the collection, use or disclosure of your Personal Data is violating or not in compliance with relevant laws.

 

You can exercise these rights as the Data Subject by contacting our Data Protection Officer as mentioned below. We will notify the result of your request within 30 days upon receipt of such request. If we deny the request, we will inform you of the reason via email address, telephone, or registered mail (if applicable).

We use cookies to identify and track visitors, their usage of our website and their website access preferences.
